Hello,
I’m Alicia M. Franklin

AMrs. Alicia M. Franklin has twenty years of experience in education serving as a teacher, assistant principal, assistant director, director, principal, and principal of support programs with an emphasis on students with diverse needs and teacher evaluations. She has worked with students, teachers, parents, and community stakeholders in public, charter, magnet, and virtual school environments with diverse experiences in supporting a multitude of areas within a school and/or school district.

Alicia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Masters of Education in Administration & Supervision from Southern University and A&M College. She expanded her credentials by obtaining an additional 30 graduate hours with certifications in Supervisor of Child Welfare & Attendance, School Supervisor of Instruction, Supervisor of Student Teaching and Educational Technology Facilitator. Alicia is currently completing her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Organizational Development.

As an educator, mother, and wife, Alicia understands the importance of trusting relationships, clear communication, listening to understand, and seeking to strengthen and/or resolve barriers in a professional; yet, compassionate manner to foster a culture of academic and social excellence. Utilizing her experiences to collaborate with school leaders, teachers, support staff, families, and community stakeholders to uphold the educational outcomes of all students is evident in her educational pursuits.
